The Colorful Touch that Makes the Party
All the details involved in hosting a recent party at our home were a little overwhelming. Because it was an event for 30+ second graders, planning presented even more of a challenge because we wanted to make sure the kids were safe, supervised and totally entertained.
We rented a bounce house so they could expend some of their seemingly endless energy and set up indoor games and activities designed for both boys and girls… but I have to say that the best single investment we made that evening was in hiring Bo Benna Parties for affordable face painting fun.
Owner Genna Galbo made the process seamless from start to finish – she arrived early, set up her own “work station” complete with a decorated table, chairs and an array of design options, including super cool glitter tattoos that were a big hit.
“I fell in love with this job when I worked for a face painting company and take great pride in what I do,” says Galbo, who specializes in face painting, balloon animals, glitter tattoos, party games and group activities. “I love working with children and making them smile. The inspiration behind starting my own business in 2011 was that I wanted to customize the offerings to reflect my passion, style and love of making kids smile.”
For our part, my husband and I were particularly impressed with the way Genna “managed” the children. We like to think the event was “controlled mayhem” and Genna went a long way toward ensuring that the kids were having a ball, but were also respectful and polite in waiting for their turn. Every mom in attendance commented on Genna’s fun, yet professional approach and asked for her card to coordinate their own kids’ upcoming birthday parties and gatherings.
